A new consumer phenomenon is called “tagging” or “folksonomies” (short
for folks and taxonomy). Tagging is powerful because consumers are
creating an organizational structure for online content. Folksonomies
not only enable people to file away content under tags, but, even
better, share it with others by filing it under a global taxonomy that
they created.

A favorite topic that I write about is advice for small business website owners to add fresh content often for the benefit of their visitors. Those visitors include search engine crawlers, and the search engine optimization value is enhanced by adding new content frequently. A small business blog is the perfect way to create new site content, and making a post once a week may give you an edge over your competition.
Consider how many of your small business competitors have a blog. The majority do not. If you are a blogger, a weekly post could be the key advantage beating out the competition and attracting new prospects to your website.

As late as just a little more than a decade ago, diaries and journals were hardbound noteBooks kept under lock and key. They were stuffed in the most secret of hiding places–in the corner of the closet, inside a box stowed beneath the bed, and sometimes even under layers of underwear in the bottommost drawer. These diaries and journals were only for owner’s eyes and no one else’s.
