Pay Per Click Programs - Need For Caution
Filed under: Internet
Pay Per Click (PPC) programs have been mushrooming everywhere. I see them daily in my inbox, on news sites, on money making sites and what not? They have been luring readers to join them.
Under Pay to Click programs, members are asked to click on certain ads and view the same ranging from 15 seconds to 1 minute. Payment goes from 0.25 cent to 5 cents. Most of them offer free membership. Some have a paid membership as well. One can click ads upon logging a website, if available or receive them in mail.
Pay Per Click Advertising companies generally provide estimates of earnings that one can make. For example, one company has given the following estimates:
Earnings Example
You click 10 ads per day, your earnings = $0.10!
10 referrals click 10 ads per day, your reward = $1.00!
Weekly earnings you make = $7.70!
Monthly earnings you make = $30.80!
Some websites provide more attractive estimates like the following:
Earnings Example
You click 10 ads a day = $0.10
Your 20 referrals click 10 ads per day = $2.00
Your daily earnings will equal = $2.10
Your weekly earnings = $14.70
Your monthly earnings = $63.00
The above examples are based on the following assumptions:
1) that there are always minimum ads available on a PPC site
2) One has active referrals and
3) Each ad pays 1 cent.
I have seen that there are not many ads available on a pay per click site. Sometimes they are dry. I have been finding just 3 ads on a website for quite some time now. They are zero also many a times. There is no guarantee of ads for clicking.
Secondly, it is fallacious for most of the PPC members to have referrals and that too active ones. It is hard to get referrals in the first place and then their remaining active is too much to ask for.
Thirdly, not all websites pay 1 cent all the time. Many sites have now started paying as little as ΒΌ cents for viewing an ad for 15 seconds.
On the basis of the above, click 2 pay schemes seem to be fallacious. The earnings are meager and would not justify the time and effort involved at all. This is especially true for people from developed countries.
The problems are that there are not enough ads available as promised, there are hardly any referrals and that too active ones and many sites pay much below one cent per ad.
One big problem with PPC sites is that their payout is too much, ranging from $10 to $25. It is hard to make that amount. It will take one months to reach that much of payout. Generally one is apt to give up before reaching there.
I know one pay per click site giving out a bonus of $10 to start with simply for joining. But the payout is at $25. I am sure only exceptional ones can make that payment.
Based on the above, it seems that most of PPC companies are not genuine. I suspect their intentions. They do not seem to be having any intention of payment.
That is why I am loath in recommending these companies in my blog and website. I feel they play with the sentiments of people and are more a farce than a reality. I would definitely suggest people to avoid these companies. They are not worth the time and trouble, though I have recommended a couple of them in my blog.
I might recommend a company whose payout is not more than $1. One could try. There are a few such companies. I am examining them at present and may write latter about them in my blog.
