Internet Marketers - 3 Traits All The Successful Ones Have!

In my business I’ve seen a lot of failure. I’m not just talking about my own, but I’ve helped countless people who have come to my website looking for answers who were currently deep in failure. I know about failure, and I’m going to tell you the three main traits winners have which enable them to overcome it.
Number one is patience. Winners have the patience to take first things first and postpone the basic human need of instant gratification. If you only function well when instantly gratified, the Internet business is not for your! Patience is not only an asset, it is the only chance you have for success in this business.
All the big-shot marketers weren’t born with an overdose of luck. They aren’t special people; they simply were fortunate enough to acquire the art of being patient. Talk about failure! Every guru you know has had far more failures than 99.99 percent of anyone reading (or writing) this article! Just to keep the energy positive, these guys don’t even call it “failing”…they call it “Testing!” Patience is the only thing that kept them “testing” long enough to finally start seeing success.
The second trait is employing risky behavior. No, I’m not talking about naughty things at all. I’m speaking of sticking your neck out past your computer screen! It’s one thing to scheme away solo at your keyboard; it’s quite another to announce your intentions of being a big time Internet entrepreneur to your buddies, Mother, dogs, and significant other! You got to live it, believe it and toot that horn loud and clear as to where you are driving your life to! Protecting yourself by keeping mum of your dreams only means there is some doubt upstairs which will, of course, provide you the necessary license to fail.
The third trait is being able to jump into all the shoes of your potential customers. I can create a cool sales page I simply love. So what if I love it? Just because you write a sales letter which you KNOW is your best effort to date does not mean sales are going to be plugging up your PayPal account. Heck, it might not make one sale for all you know.
If you want real success, you have to step into Jane’s pumps and John’s boots. Walk a mile along their path in life. Understand where they are coming from and what their needs, dreams and nightmares are. Only when you can see your business with your customers’ eyes will you be successful. You have to sense their trigger points…feel their pain…feel what motivates them. Remember! Your pain, your dreams, and your motivation are NOT the same thing as theirs! You are not marketing to yourself!
Have patience, expose your neck, and think like your customers; those are three of the traits you must have. These alone won’t pay your mortgage, but skimp on one and success will be a long row to hoe (That’s Okie for Difficult!) on the way to success.
