4 Ways To Make More Money By Generating Traffic With Myspace

MySpace has become one of the most popular advertising tools on the internet. Almost every artist, band, photographer, and up-and-coming business has a MySpace page. While this means that you have a lot of competition, it also means that you have a great opportunity for free advertising and can contact other businesses like yours to create a cooperative effort. Here are 4 key ways to generating traffic with MySpace.
1. Make Your Page Stand Out
As soon as you have a basic page set up, get a good layout from one of the secondary layout providers. Be careful–it’s easy to fall in love with a background only to have your text not show up because it’s just too busy. You can also learn to do it your self. Simply search the internet for information.
2. Stay Organized
It’s easy to let a MySpace page get out of hand. Keep your organization clean by having only a few photos that promote your business and products or services, and if you’re going to write a blog, keep it current or delete it.
3. Get the Right Friends
This is very important. In the beginning, you may get invitations from a lot of people, only to find out that they are just trying to make themselves seem popular or they are doing the same thing you’re doing. While this is fine, make sure they are the right kinds of friends–you don’t want to be a company selling baby products and have a “friend” who is a professional dominatrix.
4. Co-op
If there are other sites similar to yours on MySpace but that offer slightly different–or complementary–products or services, by all means link up. You can support each other.
